The J & J Stables Tennessee Walker
After raising and riding Quarter Horses for years, we concluded that there must be a more comfortable way to ride. Since we prefer larger, more muscular horses, we chose the Tennessee Walking Horse over other gaited breeds. We believe that the naturally gaited horses exemplify true rider comfort on Western trails.

We feel that working Tennessee Walker trail horses should be selected from stock raised in the rough, rugged country in which they are expected to perform. Since beginning our breeding program in 1981, we have consistently produced versatile horses that are used for pleasure and trail riding, field trialing, show, and stock work. We strive for gentle, intelligent temperaments, good bone and musculature, and the exemplary movement for which the breed is famous.

In addition to horses from our own breeding program, we also offer our registered stallion at stud to outside mares. We have a big Palomino son of Tennessee Goldust with outstanding conformation and superior gaits.
